Abstract: Nighttime economy generally refers to service-related economic activities that occur in specific areas of the city from 6pm to early morning the next day, including diversified commercial forms such as catering, accommodation, shopping, cultural tourism, and sports. The national 14th Five Year Plan clearly proposes that we need to smooth the domestic circulation and promote consumption comprehensively. The Twelfth Congress of the CPC in Hefei clearly stated that we should work hard to build seven cities. The nighttime economy is an important component of activating the consumption potential, smoothing the domestic circulation, and building a happy city. However, compared with the sub-center cities in the Yangtze River Delta region, it is urgent to accelerate the high-quality development of the nighttime economy and strive to write a new chapter in the high-quality development of the nighttime economy.
