The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC has made arrangements for further deepening the reform, attracting attention from all sectors of society. Scholars from the Yangtze IDEI also shared the insights and experiences on studying the Decision of the Third Plenary Session based on their own work.
Liu Zhibiao: The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC points out that we need to improve the system and mechanism for developing new quality productivity according to local conditions. Accelerating the formation of a new type of industrial policy system is one of the important contents and measures to achieve this requirement and form a new type of production relationship. Also, it is an inevitable requirement to achieve the high-quality development and promote Chinese path to modernization.
Chen Liu: Focusing on the reform, the Decision further proposes that we should establish a sound system to enhance the resilience and safety level of industrial and supply chains. It puts forward new requirements for accelerating the construction of institutional mechanisms that adapt to the high-quality development of industrial and supply chains.
Chen Dong: The mission undertaken by the private economy is strategic, sustainable, and mission-oriented. The private economy should always maintain the high-quality development trend.
Zhang Yueyou: Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, significant historical achievements have been made in the reform of China's service industry. The importance of service industry reform has been redefined, which not only reflects the CPC's renewed understanding of the importance of the service industry, but also marks the elevation of its strategic position.
Zong Jiafeng: Finance is an important foundation for national governance. We should further deepen the reform of the fiscal and taxation system and promote the development of Chinese path to modernization.
