In recent years, the series of discussions on industrial and supply chains by the central government continue to progress, which are ensuring the stability of industrial and supply chains, improving the stability and competitiveness of industrial and supply chains, enhancing the independent and controllable capability of industrial and supply chains, ensuring the security and stability of industrial and supply chains, focusing on improving the resilience and security level of industrial and supply chains, and so on. It can be said that the industrial the supply chains have become the focus of the overall construction of Chinese path to modernization related to national security and modern industrial system. The Third Plenum of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC focuses on further comprehensively deepening reform, and proposes the establishment of a sound system to enhance the resilience and security level of industrial and supply chains, which put forward new requirements for accelerating the construction of institutional mechanism that adapts to the high-quality development of industrial and supply chains.
This article elaborates on four aspects, which are focusing on building the fundamental industrial and supply chains, establishing a risk assessment and response mechanism for the industrial and supply chains, improving the orderly transfer cooperation mechanism of industries in China, and perfecting the exploration, supply, storage, and sale system for primary products such as strategic mineral resources.
