The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC has approved the Decision on Further Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Promoting Chinese Path to Modernization on July 18th, 2024. It proposes a series of decisions concerning opening up to the outside world, including steadily expanding institutional opening-up, actively aligning with international high-standard economic and trade rules, expanding independent opening-up, and orderly expanding China's commodity market, service market, capital market, as well as labor market. To this end, the Suzhou Research Center of the Yangtze IDEI organized political, industrial, academic, and media scholars to interpret and discuss the spirits of steadily expanding institutional opening-up in the Third Plenum.
