Abstract: The development of emerging and future industries is the direction of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, and it is also an inevitable requirement for China to build a modern industrial system and a new development pattern. Currently, the development of emerging and future industries faces many challenges, such as key technologies being controlled by others, inadequate supporting systems, technological ethics, and industrial security. China should do a good job in top-level design to ensure that our industries adapt to local conditions, develop safely and orderly, open up new tracks for future industries, and establish a systematic mechanism for investment growth. In addition, we should cultivate and strengthen emerging industries and future industries, regarding standards as a priority. We can promote the construction of China's future industrial standardization system from the three levels of technology, rules, and ecology, obtain technological sovereignty and rule discourse right, and build as well as improve a standardized ecology that adapts to industrial development.
