Zhang Erzhen

Zhang Erzhen is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of International Economics and Trade director of the Institute of International Economics of Nanjing University deputy director of the Teaching Committee of Nanjing University chief expert of Jiangsu Economic Internationalization Decision Consulting Research base. He also served as adjunct professor of Northwest University and Xiamen University and as an advisory member of the Nanjing Municipal People’s Government.
Resume:
He currently holds the role of editorial board member or academic member for many well-known academic journals, such as The Journal of World Economy, Journal of International Trade, World Economy Studies, China Review of Political Economy, Forum of World Economics & Politics, Journal of Business Economics, Journal of Chinese Economic and Foreign Trade Studies. He previously served as a senior visiting scholar to Nagoya Gakuin University in Japan, Harvard University and the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) in the United States, and also won first prize in Outstanding Teaching Quality Achievements at Nanjing University, first prize for Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences of Jiangsu Province, and the Anzijie International Trade Research Award, and the national award for Outstanding Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars, etc. He was also awarded the title of ''My Favorite Teacher'' on two occasions by Nanjing University students, and was a recipient of special government allowances issued by the State Council since 1992.
