Xu Ning holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is the assistant dean and office director for the Yangtze IDEI at Nanjing University.

1. Strategy of Economic Globalization under the Condition of Expanding Domestic Demands - Research on Opening Up in the New Period of the Yangtze River Delta, Liu Zhibiao, Wu Qiang et al. (as editors), Xu Ning (as participating editor), Economic Science Press, 2013; He won second prize at the 18th “Anzijie International Trade Research Award” for excellent work in December 2014 (no first prize was awarded)2. He was selected as a young scholar at the Sino-German Center for Research Promotion and invited to participate in the Conference of Laureates of the Fourth Nobel Prize in Economics, Lindau, Germany, in August 20113. He won the “Jing” Ying teaching award from the Bank of Beijing, Nanjing University, 20114. He was selected as a candidate for the ''China Think Tank Innovative Talent Award'', Chinese Academy of Social Sciences/Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation, 2018

1. Yangtze River Delta Regional Economic Integration, a research project in 2009 from the Yangtze River Delta Economic and Social Development Research Center at Nanjing University - the key research base of humanities and social sciences for the Ministry of Education, chaired by Liu Zhibiao;
