Jiang Jing is the secretary-general of the Yangtze IDEI at Nanjing University. She currently serves as a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Economics of the Business School at Nanjing University. She earned a bachelor's degree (1998) a master's degree (2005) and a doctoral degree (2008) in Economics from the Business School of Nanjing University.

She is a postdoctor at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University (2010); visiting scholar to Stanford University, USA (2014); and visiting scholar to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, USA (2018). She has published over 30 papers in Management World, World Economy, China Industrial Economics and other journals, many of which were reprinted by Xinhua Digest and Chinese Social Science Digest. She is a peer-reviewed expert at the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She presided over critical projects for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Jiangsu Provincial Social Science Fund, and the key research base for the philosophy and social sciences at the Ministry of Education. She won first prize in the 11th outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences of Jiangsu Province, and third prize in the 14th outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences. She is an anonymous reviewer for Social Sciences in China, Management World, Journal of Finance and Economics and other journals.
