Shen Sichun, distinguished researcher of Yangtze IDEI of Nanjing University, born in Suqian Jiangsu in February 1963, graduated from Huaiyin Normal University in July 1984, accomplished on-job postgraduate study of sociology in Nanjing University in 2003. He started work in 1984 and has been working on policy research for the Party committee system since 1986. He is a famous planner of regional economy. He used to be director of the research department of the Municipal Party Committee of County-level Suqian, assistant to the head of Xinzhuang Township Suqian City, section chief of the research department of the Municipal Party Committee of Zhangjiagang, and deputy director of the village office of the research department of the Provincial Party Committee of Jiangsu. He was assigned to prefecture-level city Suqian in 2001 and worked there as deputy secretary general of the Municipal Party Committee and director of research department. Since 2012, he has been working as department-level surveyor of the society office in the research department of the Provincial Party Committee of Jiangsu, and working as rotating leader of strategic research team.
