Wang Dehua, born in Anqing City of Anhui Province in 1974, distinguished researcher of Yangtze IDEI of Nanjing University, researcher of the strategic research institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and director of the financial auditing research room. He has consecutively obtained the master’s degree and doctor’s degree in theoretical economics from Nanjing University from 2000 to 2005; he worked on postdoctoral studies in Tsinghua SEM from 2005 to 2007; since 2007, he has been studying in the financial strategy research institute (former finance and trade office). He is also executive member of China Audit Society, executive member and secretary-general of China Cost Research Society, and member of Chinese Finance Society and Central Committee Member of the Twelfth Session of China Democratic League. His is mainly engaged in research on finance and tax theories and policies, social insurance, national audit and macroeconomics, etc. He was selected into the funding plan of “fundamental researchers” (2014-2018) of the innovation project of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He was made to take the lead in research programs by National Natural Science Foundation of China (surface), National Social Science Foundation of China, Asian Development Bank, UNICEF, National Audit Office, Ministry of Finance and NPC Preliminary Work Commission, etc. He published many papers on Economic Studies, World Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Comparison and other magazines. He won the first “Pushan Award”, “Outstanding Achievement Award of Scientific Research in Institutions of Higher Education (Humanities and Social Sciences)”, “National Outstanding Fiscal Theory Research Achievement Award”, “Best Paper Award of International Annual Meeting on Chinese Finance” and other multiple academic awards.


Academic honor:
Wang Dehua and Li Qiong, “Comparison between Enterprise Tax Burden and Macro Tax Burden Areas”, won the third prize of sixth national outstanding fiscal theory research achievement award in 2017. Wang Dehua and Bai Chongen, “Why Government Interferes Medical Department?”, won the third prize of fifth national outstanding fiscal theory research achievement award in 2012. Bai Chongen, Wang Dehua and Qi Liangshu, research report “Problems and Countermeasures for the Service Industry Development in China”, won the second prize of “Outstanding Achievement Award of Scientific Research in Institutions of Higher Education (Humanities and Social Sciences)”. (This prize evaluation activity is held every three years). Wang Dehua, Zhang Zaijin and Bai Chongen, “Government Size, Level of Rule of Law and Service Industry Development”, won the first session (2008) of “top prize of Pushan excellent paper award on world economy”. Wang Dehua and Liu Zhibiao, “Refinancing policy, listed company growth impulse and abnormal performance distribution”, won the fourth session (2005) of the best paper award of international annual meeting on Chinese finance. One first prize and two third prizes of excellent countermeasure information award of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
